Vacuums are the workhorse of our carpeted areas when it comes to cleaning, but they do need a little TLC now and then to stay running well. Most people are already familiar with cleaning or replacing the vacuum bag because it is done on a more regular basis, but removing and cleaning the roller brush is less usual. If you live in a house with long-haired individuals or animals, you may be familiar with this issue. The hair that wraps around (and almost dreads) your roller brush is picked up by the vacuum as it goes around the carpet. When the roller brush can no longer revolve due to too much hair, it stops picking up hair and debris on your floor.
